Fans may follow and continuously get updates from One Direction's member Zayn Malik as he take his Twitter account back after quitting last Tuesday.

The young singer claimed that he was "being abused" online and decided to deactivate his Twitter account. However, he apparently changed his mind and let everyone know that he is back in the Twittersphere.

"Sorry, I was getting some abuse on twitter but I dont want to let my fans down. So I am back!! :)," the singer tweeted.

"And thanks for all your messages of support. I really do love all you guys, your support never ceases 2 amaze me xxx," Zayn said in another tweet.

The boy band member was apparently accused of partying too hard and cheating on his girlfriend, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.

"The reason i don't tweet as much as i use to, is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :)," he posted earlier this week.

The young singer instructed his fans that they can post their nice tweets to him on the official Twitter account of One Direction.

Zayn's girlfriend Perrie deleted her account in May, after also claiming she had received online abuse.

On the other hand, angered fans backlashed celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and many celebrities unfollowed him in the aforementioned social networking site.

Earlier today, Zayn promised fans that the band had some "big news" to share.

One Direction announced that upcoming release of a brand new single, "Live While We're Young." The group will release the first track from their forthcoming second album on September 30.

In a video message posted on Twitter, the boys also revealed the single will be available to pre-order on iTunes from midnight tonight.

"We want to say a massive thank you to you guys because we wouldn't be where we are today without you," Louis Tomlinson added.
