The on-going feud between Hollywood actor Mel Gibson and former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has caught the eye of Oprah Winfrey, and now reports say that Oprah will finally have the much-coveted sit-down interview with Oksana.

Us Weekly reported that the Russian singer Oksana will finally have an interview with Oprah Winfrey about her rocky relationship with Gibson. The couple's break up was widely pursued by the entertainment media following Oksana's allegations of domestic violence against Mel Gibson.

Oksana accused Gibson of hitting her in a heated altercation, which chipped two of her teeth. She further alleged that during the altercation, Gibson also hurt their common child, Lucia. Gibson had denied Oksana's allegations which had led to a legal proceeding against the beleaguered actor.

Oksana had leaked recorded convesations, e-mails and other correspondence with Gibson to the media. These revealed details of the couple's relationship and Gibson's apparent break-down where in one letter to Oksana, the actor confessed that he felt like a failure.

The interview with Oksana was hotly contested, with 60 Minutes also bidding for the interview. As of this time, Oprah's company Harpo is yet to issue an announcement on the matter.
