Oprah tops Parade magazine’s highest celebrity earners for 2010
Parade magazine has named Oprah as this year’s highest-earning celebrity for this year’s 28th annual “What People Earn” issue
Parade magazine has named Oprah as this year’s highest-earning celebrity for its 28th annual “What People Earn” issue. Citing the report by Parade magazine, Access Hollywood said that Oprah has earned an estimated $315 M in 2010. She was followed by late Michael Jackson whose estate has recorded raking in approximately $275 M as of December 2010.
Listed as the third highest earning celebrity is aging rock group, AC/DC which as noted by Access Hollywood, has even out-earned some of the contemporary hot stars with its earnings recorded at $114M.
Johnny Depp is
the highest earning actor at $100M. His income is way above the earnings raked in by actress Kirsten Stewart who was recorded as the highest earner among the Hollywood actresses.
Stewart earned $28M while her real life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson was half a million dollars shy from her earnings. But the Twilight sweethearts are not included in the top ten highest earning celebrities by Parade magazine.
Following Johnny Depp in the fifth place is Beyonce who reportedly earned $87million, $24 million dollars higher than her husband who came next at $63M.
Lady Gaga came next at 62M while Oscar winning actress, Sandra Bullock followed at $56 M. Ellen DeGeneres earned $1M less than Sandra but $4M higher than American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest. The Idol host has continued to hold his record as the highest earning host in American entertainment industry.
