Australians now have an inceased chance of seeing Oprah Winfrey in person as the Hollywoos top television host has announced an additional date to her trip in Australia. Aside from her two show to be filmed in Sydney Opera House, Oprah is also filming another one in an undisclosed outback location.

Southall Travel reports that Oprah added an extra date to her upcoming tour of Australia due to the high demand for tickets among Australians.

The reservation window for the release of Orprah's Australia shows taping tickets has now been closed but Oprah.com said that if tickets are available.

No other details are yet available for the additional date.

However, the previously announced tapings are ticketed events with ticket requests to the Oprah's shows in Australia randomly selected. A location will be designated in Sydney, where those whose ticket requests will be selected, can pick up the tickets one or two days before the The Oprah Winfrey Show tapings. The same requirements may be expected for the additional date for Oprah's trip to Australia.

Oprah's trip to Australia is part of the country's tourism promotion with funding from the federal and NSW government. The visit will be conducted in partnership with Qantas and is partly financed by Tourism Australia ($1.5 million) from its current marketing budget. The NSW government will shoulder between $1 million and $2 million.
