Oprah Winfrey is set to host an episode of her show focusing on Australia next week, as prelude to her upcoming trip to "the land down under". The Hollywood's top talk show host and 300 audience from her Chicago studio are set to tour Australia in an eight-day trip this December.

As part of her Ultimate Australian Adventure, Oprah will shoot two episodes at the Sydney Opera House with audience selected through an online lottery. According to reports in the media, the show will feature performances from Australian singer Keith Urban and rapper billionaire Jay Z.

Other Australian celebrities and personalities will also have a sit down with Oprah. Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett are few Australian stars who will guest in Oprah's Ultimate Australian Adventure. According to the media release, the ticket request for Oprah's Australian episodes had reached more than 350, 000, and 95% of the tickets were alocated to Australian residents.

Oprah Winfrey and her 300 audience had already been invited to a private performance from Bon Jovi for a relaunch of a major venue in Sydney.

Oprah's trip to Australia is part of the country's tourism promotion with funding from the federal and NSW government. The visit is in partnership with Qantas and is partly financed by Tourism Australia and the NSW government.

It will also be the first Oprah Winfrey episode to be filmed outside the United States. The episode featuring Oprah's eight day trip to Australia will also mark the start of the show's 25th and final season.
