A female train passenger had previously claimed that she was among several shocked witnesses who saw the public oral sex on the Armadale line last week

Transport authorities in Perth have not found any video footage of oral sex as claimed by a passenger who allegedly witnessed a woman performing oral sex on a man during the train's peak hours.

A female train passenger had previously claimed that she was among several shocked witnesses who saw the public oral sex on the Armadale line last week. She also said transit guards in the area did not do anything to stop the incident.

David Hynes, spokesman of the Perth Transport Authority, said an investigation was conducted even if authorities did not receive a formal complaint. Mr. Hynes said that transport authorities only knew about the oral sex claims through the media.

The authorities checked the CCTV footage from multiple cameras installed inside the train and stations. Mr. Hynes said the transport office has interviewed the transit guards on the train and spent more than 100 hours viewing train footage.

They found nothing during the 100 hours of viewing. The office also didn't receive any complaints from other passengers on the train where the incident was supposed to have happened.

After extensive review of video footage of the train pulling up into the Armadale station, there was no proof of transit guards being approached by a passenger or of the guards speaking to one of the passengers getting off the train.

The woman who claimed to have seen a couple engaged in oral sex refused to assist the authorities in the investigation. She said although she was offended by some behaviour, she didn't actually see the actual act of oral sex in the train.

Transperth was disappointed about the false claims of oral sex in train since its image and reputation was placed on the line when news first broke out of the alleged incident.

The Public Transport Authority has said the professionalism of its transit officers have been unfairly tainted after a passenger who claimed she saw a woman performing oral sex on a man while riding the Armadale Express admitted her story was not true.
