The colourful inmates of Litchfield prison will be returning on June 06, 2014, to tell some of their interesting, criminal back-stories. As reported previously, "Orange is the New Black" Season 2 will no longer focus only on Piper Chapman. She will still be an important character, but the fans will also get to see stories of other inmates.

At the PaleyFest, Jenji Kohan, creator of "Orange is the New Black," had said that the back-stories of Morello, Sister Ingalls, Taystee, Poussey, Ms. Rosa and Vee will be revealed in Season 2. The mysterious Vee will be introduced as the new inmate of Litchfield Prison, while Alex Vause will be exiting the prison. Laura Prepon, who plays Vause, will appear in only four episodes in Season 2 of "Orange is the New Black."

Beth Fowler said to The Hollywood Reporter [THR] that Sister Ingalls' crime is based on Megan Rice, the 83-year-old Catholic nun. She was sentenced to prison after breaking into a nuclear weapons plant. The actress indicated that a lot of revelations are going to happen in the upcoming season of "Orange is the New Black."

Ms Rosa's crime will not be all "doom and gloom," according to Baraba Rosenblat. She called it a nice thing. However, the wrongdoing of Natalie Figueroa, played by Alysia Reiner, is going to shock the fans. Reiner teased, "I thought I was a good girl!"

Meanwhile, Danielle Brooks is most excited to see the episode that features Lorna, played by Yael Stone, Poussey, portrayed by Samira Wiley, and her own character, Taystee.

The conflicts in the new season are likely to be driven by the prison's racially divided cliques, Stone said. "A lot of the conflict comes from acknowledging that those divides exist, throwing them up against each other and seeing what happens."

THR reports that the first episode of "Orange is the New Black" Season 2 provides a glimpse of Chapman's past. In the flashback, she will be seen with 12-year-old Clare Foley who is featured as the anti-hero.

"You see Piper as a daddy's girl, and some of her friends being naughty, but she's trying to be good," said Chapman.
