There is still some time for Netflix to release the episodes of "Orange is the New Black" Season 2. As reported previously, "Orange is the New Black" will be back on June 06, 2014. Piper Chapman and her story will still be important, but fans will get to see more of other characters, as well. "Orange is the New Black" Season 2 is taking the ensemble story-telling route.

Talking about the upcoming season, Danielle Brooks, who plays Taystee, said that viewers will get to see more of her. Brooks has been promoted as series regular for Season 2. In an interview with E! Online, the actress said, "I'm going to tease you a little bit about Taystee [in] season two -- you'll get more of me!"

The actress did not drop a big spoiler, but said that her character has shocked her Season 2. "I think people will be excited to see what she does in season two," Brooks said.

Meanwhile, the second season of "Orange is the New Black" will feature Poussey's back-story. Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey, said to E! Online, "We will see Poussey's back story so I hope people are excited about that. We will see a lot more of her in prison."

Wiley also said that in the second season, Poussey will be seen not just as a friend of Taystee, but a lot more will be revealed about her. The actress said, "... we'll see really more of her, her morals, where her loyalty lies, who she is as a woman, all that kind of stuff."

The new season of "Orange is the New Black" promises to be richer and compelling. This is despite Laura Prepon not returning as a series regular. Prepon's Alex Vause will appear in "most" of Season 2, but not in all episodes.

The back-stories of the colourful characters -- and their increased screen-time -- will for sure make-up for the absence of the lesbian inmate and Chapman's ex-lover, Vause.
