Pablo Schreiber is not returning to play Pornstache in "Orange is the New Black" Season 3, as he is playing one of the leads in HBO's "The Brink." The actor, however, is not completely shutting the door on "Orange is the New Black," and may return in Season 4.

Like Laura Prepon's Alex Vause, Pornstache, too, has limited scenes in Season 2. [Spoiler: he was arrested and sent to prison in Season 2]. Laura Prepon is returning as a series regular in Season 3, and has said that there will be a new shift in Alex and Piper's relationship.

"I'm not taking part in the third season. I'm a member of a show called 'The Brink' that's going to be on HBO. It's a half-hour comedy with Jack Black and Tim Robbins and me [as] the three leads. I'm really excited about it," Schreiber said to New York Post.

The actor also said that he was a never a series regular in Netflix's drama-comedy. It was a guest-starring role, and in "The Brink," the actor has bagged a leading role. "The role that I have on 'The Brink' is a starring role, and it's a no brainer. Absolutely, I chose to jump on board with that show. It was a better move for me as an actor," Schreiber said.

Schreiber, however, has not completely ruled out the possibility of returning in the future seasons of the show. "I'm not a part of the third season of "Orange Is The New Black," but going forward after that, we just don't know," the actor said New York Post. "I would go anywhere that [Jenji Kohan's] working, and I know that our paths will cross again soon, whether it's on 'Orange' or on a future project." Jenji Kohan is the creator of the show, which is based on Piper Kerman's memoir of the same name. Unlike Schreiber, Matt McGorry, who plays John Bennett, has confirmed that he is doing Season 3 of Netflix's drama-comedy. He has a series regular role on ABC's new show "How to Get Away with Murder."

Speaking about Piper and Alex's relationship, Prepon said to TV Guide, "In the beginning, Alex was definitely manipulating her [Piper] more, making her a drug mule and using sex to manipulate her." The actress said that the "game changes" for Alex when they fall in love with each other. Alex stops being manipulative, but then Piper "does these things that are really manipulative and messed up."

"Then, in Season 2, there was definitely a shift and already in Season 3 there's another shift. So there's this constant thing that keeps changing. That's why they're so interesting," Prepon said.

The cast of "Orange is the New Black" are currently filming Season 3. The show recently scored 12 Emmy nominations, including for the show as well as multiple acting nominations.
