For the viewers who are wondering when they will see Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson again, Joseph Morgan has the answer. The British actor shared on social media site Twitter the premiere date for the CW spinoff TV series "The Originals" Season 2.

"Starting MONDAY October 6 #MikealsonMondays," the 33-year-old actor posted on his Twitter account @JosephMorgan on Wednesday, June 25. The CW Network released the premiere dates for their new TV lineup in the fall and "The Originals" felt the changes made.

According to the Wet Paint report, the Mikaelson vampire family is moving to a new airing schedule because the "Arrow" spinoff series "The Flash" is taking over their previous Tuesday night timeslot. The report further noted that "The Originals" Season 2 filming is currently on a break but the writers are already back to work on the scripts.

Executive prouder Julie Plec teased back in April via Twitter that she as well as the other crew members behind the hit TV series also need a break before suffering a mental breakdown. In "The Originals" Season 2, viewers are expecting to see more intense scenes or shocking twists as vampires, werewolves and witches live together in New Orleans.

The Season 1 finale revealed the return of Klaus' old enemies, his parents Mikael (Sebastian Roché) and Esther (Alice Evans). Added to the list of Klaus' enemies in "The Originals" Season 2 are "The Wire" actress Sonja Sohn who will portray powerful with Lenore and "Teen Wolf" star Daniel Sharman who will portray new witch Kaleb.

As for the characters of the CW spinoff series, the fans will see them still dealing with the shocking events that happened in "The Originals" Season 1 finale. One character expected to be deeply affected is Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) who transformed into a hybrid and had to send away her newborn daughter, Hope, in order to protect her from Klaus' enemies.

Aussie actress Phoebe Tonkin previously teased that her character will be very broken and lost in the brand new season. "The Originals" is now officially set to return with Season 2 on Monday night, October 6, at 8 pm on the CW Network.
