'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Episodes 11 And 12 Titles Revealed, EP Julie Plec Tease About 'Curse of The First Born' In Second Half of Season 2

The details on the second half of "The Originals" Season 2 are starting to materialize to excite the fans who are waiting for the return of the CW spin off series this January. The CW Network has revealed the titles for the upcoming episodes 11 and 12 while executive producer Julie Plec teased about an important storyline in the second half of "The Originals" Season 2.

According to a SpoilerTV report, "The Originals" Season 2, episode 11 is titled "Brotherhood of the Damned." The upcoming episode is scheduled to air on Jan. 26, 2015. As for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 12, the upcoming new episode is briefly titled "Sanctuary) with the airing schedule set on Monday, Feb. 2.

Executive producer Julie Plec teased in a TVLine report that the second half of "The Originals" Season 2 will reveal something on the "Curse of the First Born" since Dahlia's (Kristin Erickson) threat will involve baby Hope, Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) first born child. In "The Originals" Season 2, episode 6 titled "Wheel Inside the Wheel," the fans met Dahlia, a powerful witch that placed a curse on Esther's bloodline where every first born child must be given up as a payment for the deal that her younger sister made with her.

Julie Plec further teased that the upcoming episodes will show Klaus busy in keeping his daughter and New Orleans safe from his enemies. Meanwhile, executive producer Michael Narducci gave a response to the fans who are wondering if they will still see Aussie actress Claire Holt as Rebekah Mikaelson in the CW TV series.

"There are plenty of flashback [opportunities] to explore what Rebekah has been doing for the past 1,000 years," Narducci teased. When "The Originals" Season 2 returns from its long holiday break, the fans will see the Original vampire adjusting to her new body while figuring out how she could free herself from being trapped in a New Orleans mansion with a boundary spell on it.

"The Originals" Season 2 is scheduled to return on Monday night, Jan. 19, at 8/7c on the CW Network with episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire."
