'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Promo Video Teases 'Vampire Diaries' Actress Nina Dobrev's Guest Appearance As Tatia In Episode 5 [WATCH VIDEO]

The CW Network has released a promo video for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 5 titled "Red Door" with the much anticipated guest appearance of "Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev as Original doppelganger Tatia. A synopsis for the upcoming episode has been released as well teasing about another Klaus-Mikael faceoff and how Esther (Sonja Sohn) purifies Elijah (Daniel Gillies).

The brief promo video begins with Tatia affectionately holding Elijah's face while declaring that she is choosing him. The next scene shows the present time where Elijah is chained up after Esther and Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) captured him in the previous episode titled "Live and Let Die."

"Get out of my head," Elijah tells his mother. However, Esther responds that it is time now for her son to remember all that happened in the past. According to the upcoming episode's synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Esther will force her son to relive the time when he loved Tatia (Nina Dobrev) in order to show Elijah that her plan is for his own good.

The promo video also teases Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) telling someone over the phone that something has happened to Elijah. Watch the promo video for "Red Door" below. The synopsis revealed Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will be helping Hayley in finding Elijah but the new vampire-hybrid will be torn because she will find out that Klaus is in trouble as well.

The episode synopsis further teased that Davina will make an upsetting discovery about Kaleb's (Daniel Sharman) true identity and Mikael (Sebastian Roché) will make Cami (Leah Pipes) his hostage in order to lure his son, Klaus, to him. The next episode promises another violent confrontation between the Original hybrid and his vampire hunter father.

A Wet Paint report suggests Klaus and Elijah will have intense scenes together as they vie for Tatia's love. Furthermore, the episode is expected to reveal more on what Esther did to the Original doppelganger.

The upcoming episode is another crossover between the two supernatural TV series of the CW Network. Fans can recall that "The Vampire Diaries" character Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) headed to New Orleans in "The Originals" Season 1 to seek revenge on Klaus.

Another crossover happened when Klaus and Rebekah (Claire Holt) showed up in Mystic Falls for the 100th episode of "The Vampire Diaries" in season 5. "The Originals" Season 2, episode 5 titled "Red Door will air on Monday night, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
