'The Originals' Season 3 speculations: How and who can bring back Klaus' love interest Cami O'Connell
The mid-season finale episode of “The Originals” Season 3 has made some of the viewers wonder if what happened to Cami O’Connell (Leah Pipes) in the ending scene was really final. However, there are also some viewers who believe that “The Originals” character will still be back in the second-half episodes since there are possible ways for Cami to carry on with life in New Orleans.
Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “The Originals” Season 3 spoilers.
In “The Originals” Season 3, Aurora de Martel (Rebecca Breeds) cannot accept the fact that Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) has moved on and found a new love interest in Cami. To get back at Klaus, Aurora slashed Cami’s throat while sleeping next to the Original hybrid in “The Originals” Season 3 mid-season finale episode titled “Savior.”
Cami’s fate in “The Originals” Season 3 appeared to be final because actress Leah Pipes already said goodbye to “The Brave Bartender” character she has been portraying for the past few years on her Twitter account @leahmariepipes. However, the fans were given hope that the Klaus-Cami or “Klamille” relationship will continue when “The Originals” executive producer Julie Plec teased in an interview with Variety that the mid-season finale is not the last time viewers have seen Pipes grace the screen of the CW TV series.
“The question is what context we’ll see her again and just how tragic that will be,” Plec shared.
Listed below are the two speculated ways for Cami to return in the second-half of “The Originals” Season 3:
1. Cami died with vampire blood in her system.
Aurora could have given Cami her blood before slashing her throat so that Klaus’ love interest will turn into a vampire. It could be Aurora’s way of torturing Klaus because she knows that Cami is a special human being in Klaus’ eyes.
2. A powerful witch will resurrect Cami.
Cami can still continue living as a human being in “The Originals” Season 3 because there appears to be two witches in New Orleans capable of bringing people back from the dead. At the moment, the two “The Originals” characters powerful enough to perform a resurrecting spell are Klaus’ older sister Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) and Vincent Griffith (Yusuf Gatewood), the Regent of the witch community.
“The Originals” Season 3 will return from its winter hiatus with a new airing schedule. The mid-season premiere episode of “The Originals” Season 3 is scheduled to air on Jan. 29, 2016 at 9/8c on the CW Network.
