Hayley Marshall-Kenner’s life will also be in danger in “The Originals” Season 3 because of her connection to the Mikaelson family. Aussie actress Phoebe Tonkin teases in an interview what her hybrid character will be up to in the new season concerning the vampire sireline war, Hayley-Elijah relationship and dire prophecy on the Original family.

Tonkin, 26, teased in an interview with People that Hayley and Jackson Kenner (Nathan Parsons) is currently enjoying their freedom because Regent Davina Claire (Danielle Campbell) helped in breaking the Crescent Curse placed on the wolf pack. The fans will see the married couple trying to bring back some normalcy in their lives in the upcoming episodes of “The Originals” Season 3.

However, Tonkin thinks that what Jackson really wants for Hayley is to detach her from the family drama of the Mikaelsons. Hayley will constantly put herself in danger because of her connection to the Mikalesons.

Because of that, Jackson is going to get really sick of Hayley’s actions because he truly loves her. “He knows that she's a mom and if something were to happen, it would be awful for her,” Tonkin explained.

When asked about undeniable romantic attraction between Hayley and Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies), Tonkin thinks the Hayley-Elijah or “Haylijah” relationship will never happen with Jackson still in the picture. As for the brewing vampire sirelines war, Tonkin teased that the fans will see Hayley finally meeting Aurora de Martel (Rebecca Breeds), one of the first sired vampires in “The Originals” Season 3, episode 7 titled “Out of the Easy.”

However, the meeting between the two characters will not be pleasant. The synopsis of “The Originals” Season 3, episode 7 in a Hollywood Hills report teases that Hayley and Freya Mikaleson (Riley Voelkel) will take matters into their own hands after finding out Aurora has powerful leverage over Klaus.

Hayley and Freya’s plan will lead to a deadly three-way confrontation in the new episode. Tonkin teased that Hayley does not like Aurora and she will not be polite during their first meeting.

On the subject of another “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” crossover episode, Tonkin admitted that she is excited to see Mystic Falls and its residents once more. Tonkin shared that having another crossover episode would be a treat for the fans of the CW TV series.

“I'm surprised that there hasn't been one. As a TV watcher myself, it's really fun for the fans,” Tonkin further added. “The Originals” Season 3 airs on Thursday nights at 9/8c on the CW Network.
