Here is the good news for all those Orlando Bloom crazy fans who are in Australia. They will finally get their own once in a life time opportunity to get close to the actor. He is scheduled to come to Oz Comic-con in Sydney and Brisbane this September.

"Batten down the hatches and raise the pirate flag: British heart-throb Orlando Bloom is coming to Oz Comic-Con," organisers announced the star's scheduled appearance at the expo.

Joining the star will be 'The Hobbit' co-star Stephen Hunter and Dean O'Gorman. Trio will be sharing autographs and photographs followed by questions and answers round. The move is seen as part of a marketing campaign before the release of their upcoming flick 'The Hobbit-Battle of Five Armies.'

Whatever the reason may be, people will finally get a golden chance to get close with the 37-years-old British star. Bloom seems to have some old karma with Australia due to his earlier connections with Miranda Kerr. This will be his first visit after the split from his wife and top model of Australian origin.

'Legolas', his name from the move entitled Lord of the Rings, definitely knows the trick and manages to remain in the news for some reason or the other. The actor is rumoured to be dating Erica Packer and went on a vacation in Spain with her recently, after his infamous brawl with Justine Bieber.

On the other hand, rumours were surfacing regarding Miranda Kerr being pregnant with Australian billionaire James Parker's baby. This cannot get more weird and awkward. The whole pairing of Bloom and Kerr with Parkers seems to be some revenge seeking tactic from either side rather than any love affair.

Oz comic-con is in its third year. It is a perfect opportunity for all geeks, movie buffs, comic lovers and sci-fi fans to dedicate one weekend to their passion and explore what is currently trending in pop culture.

With five shows across the whole nation, Oz comic-con is heading to Brisbane and Sydney this coming September after their success in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. It is an evening function of one of its kind where people get a chance of their lifetime by mingling and chatting with esteemed and high profile guests in a relaxed ambience.

With the addition of Bloom as one of the twinkling stars, the event will surely elevate to another level of popularity. Fans and followers are waiting eagerly for the event.

The much awaited expo will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island on September 13-14, with entry from 9 am to 6 pm each day.
