Orlando Bloom is rumoured to be falling for his "Romeo and Juliet" co-star, Condola Rashad, after his controversial split with wife, Miranda Kerr.

Gossip Web sites speculated that the reason behind the split between Hollywood's cutest couple, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, is the former's affection for his new co-star, Condola Rashad.

There is no denying the closeness and chemistry of the pair, and some reports cited that close pals of the actor admitted that the British celebrity is quietly dating his 26-year-old co-star in the Broadway production of "Romeo and Juliet." One of his pals also revealed that another announcement from Orlando may be coming out soon.

The couple admitted in a statement they have been "amicably separated" for a few months. Just hours after the announcement was made, Orlando gushed about kissing Rashad.

"We sometimes get applause after our first kiss because it just goes on and on. Sometimes I'm like, 'I'm not letting go'," Orlando said.

Condola has been equally enthusiastic in her praise. "What's funny is we didn't have to force it. We had a connection from the minute we met, a sense of comfort. We've built the relationship we have just by being around each other," the Broadway actress said.

A representative of the actor confirmed the separation to E! News last Thursday that Bloom and Kerr have separated.

"They have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," according to the rep.

However, the couple still has not disclosed the details of their separation. But there were reports that the couple has been in a "loveless marriage" in the past 2 years, as both were too tied up with their own work commitments.

Despite the split, it seemed that Orlando and Miranda remained close. The couple was spotted spending some time with their son at New York's Central Park.
