Orlando Bloom has been under the scrutiny of the media after he and supermodel wife, Miranda Kerr split a few months ago. The couple has remained in good terms amidst the split and have both said that they still 'care and love' each other very much.

Bloom should be in good spirits as his movie, "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug" earned more than 73 million dollars upon opening in theaters this holiday season. As reported by the dailymail.co.uk in the article: "I'm completely in love with the idea of love': Orlando Bloom admits he still believes in finding The One following Miranda split," Bloom is currently keeping his heart open for any potential romantic affairs.

The actor opened up about his feelings and the thought of being in love in the January issue of "Elle US" where he has stated that: 'I'm completely in love with the idea of love. Maybe I'm all misty about it because I'm playing Romeo. But I really believe in, you know, that sort of heart-to-heart connection.'

The actor has been linked to various women after splitting from wife of 3 years, Kerr, being linked to his co-star in "Romeo and Juliet" and to former co-star Liv Tyler from "The Lord of the Rings".

Bloom and Kerr have been spotted playing the happy couple together despite everything because they truly believe that they should be there for their son Flynn who just turned 3 years old. Bloom had talked about his current relationship with Kerr saying:

'We're still very big parts of each other's lives. There's no reason for us to be anything but a united front. We still love and care for each other deeply.'

Bloom has been fairly busy, he has been playing Romeo in the modern themed Broadway show "Romeo and Juliet" and reprised his role as the Elven prince Legolas in sequel "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug".

The star goes nude in the movie "Zulu" which is the closing movie in the Cannes Festival. The star had his qualms about being nude but eventually said that he felt quite okay with it after a while. He had also said:

'"I got so comfortable with it I could brush up behind someone and go, 'Oh, excuse me.''
