Is Miranda Kerr dating Aussie billionaire, James Packer or not?

While former Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr has remained mum whether or not she is dating Australia’s richest man, there has been conflicting report since it first broke Monday, Dec. 2.

Woman’s Day had reported early this week that the 30-year old mother of Flynn has been secretly dating the Aussie billionaire. The claims made by the news Web site is supported by sources confirmed close to the rumoured couple.

But just 48 hours after the Woman’s Day made the assertion of the alleged brewing romance, E! Online reported that Kerr and Packer are not seeing each other romantically, as earlier claimed.

Citing an unidentified source, E! Online asserted that “there is no truth to this.”

But in the latest report by the Sydney Morning Herald, Woman’s Day is reiterating that Packer and Kerr are indeed romantically involved and have been seeing each other for months as earlier claimed.

SMH cited a statement made by Woman’s Day editor, Fionna Connolly, insisting that Kerr and Packer are a new item as they published Monday.

The Woman’s Day, said SMH even doubts the validity of the claims made by E!Online. Connolly, according to SMH, emphasized that the report made by the US news Website is “only strengthening since we published on Monday."

It should be interesting to note however, as pointed out in all three news reports that Packer and ex-wife, Erica have been friends with Kerr and her estranged husband of three years, Orlando Bloom.

The four of them, according to E! Online had gone to a vacation in Tahiti last year. Erica, also a former model, has reportedly been giving advice to Miranda when the former David Jones ambassador launched her KORA products.

Another interesting point raised by the Sydney Morning Herald is that both Packer and Kerr announced their split from their significant others just a month apart.

E! Online: “Packer announced three months ago that he and his model wife, Erica Baxter, were separating, about a month before Kerr and Bloom revealed their own split.”

James and Erica announced they were separating in Sept. 2013. Miranda and Orlando have made their separation public in Oct. 2013. Both James and Miranda remain mum on dating rumours.
