'The Orville' season 2: Scott Grimes sings on the set
It’s not all "work and no play" on the set of “The Orville” season 2. Cast member Scott Grimes (Gordon Malloy) has shared a video of him singing on during his break. The actor got a lot of compliments for his post, including one from director Jon Cassar.
Grimes found himself “alone on the ship” and decided to sing about it (see below). Fans praised the actor for having a great voice. One of them even warned him that the video may give showrunner and Executive Producer Seth MacFarlane (Captain Ed Mercer) an idea of making Grimes sing in one of the episodes, which may not be a bad idea judging by the reaction.
Fans can also get a good look at the ship set built for the show. There are green screens on most windows, which will be used to add the space background during post-production.
Cassar also complimented Grimes, saying this is the reason he loves the actor. The director also teased a picture of another character from the show.
One character that fans will get to see more of is Dann (Mike Henry). Cassar even shared a picture of Henry in full costume and makeup (see below).
Dann is mostly used for comic relief. Commenting on the post, fans thanked the director for sharing the picture.
As the filming of “The Orville” season 2 continues, there is still no word about wrapping up production. The TV series is expected to air some time towards the end of this year, or in early 2019.
