At the Red Carpet of 86th Academy Awards, the "Gravity" actress, Sandra Bullock, looked stunning in a deep blue, Alexander McQueen gown. If Bullock looked stunning, actress Charlize Theron dazzled in a Dior gown and wearing $15 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds. Emma Watson wore a see-through metallic Vera Wang gown. The Harry Potter actress kept it simple and elegant.

Watson, 23, acted like a star-struck fan. "I just met Julia Roberts," Emma said at the Red Carpet, as quoted by Los Angeles Times. "She's basically the reason I'm an actress. And Cate Blanchett! I said hi to her, too. So the night is off to a great start."

Jessica Biel arrived solo, minus her husband Justin Timberlake, on the red carpet but looked chic in a Chanel Couture gown. Angelina Jolie, however, did not arrive solo. She arrived with Brad Pitt, wearing a long-sleeve metallic gown from Elie Saab Haute Couture. Pitt looked dapper and class personified in a tuxedo.

The very much pregnant "Scandal" star Kerry Washington wore Jason Wu gown, showing-off her baby bump and the glow. Kate Hudson got the shutterbugs clicking when she arrived wearing an Atelier Versace gown. She looked like an absolute diva in the low-cut, cleavage showing gown.

Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson's mommy, and her life-partner Kurt Russell had the air of elegance and class. Hawn wore a gold satin gown and followed the adage the minimal look is the best look.

American Hustle's actress, Jennifer Lawrence, looked sexy and gorgeous in a hot red, strapless Dior frock gown. However, the actress, 23, almost fell after tripping on a gown of someone else who was standing in front of her. At the red carpet, Lawrence said, as quoted by Los Angeles Times, "I'm still hungry because I still have to fit into my corset."
