The Oscar Academy Awards 2013 took place yesterday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood yet the Oscar buzz is still high in the air. With over thousands of fans in the crowd rooting for their favourite celebrities, Hollywood stars came through with their best fashionable foot forward. However, red wasn't the main theme at the red carpet instead it felt like Christmas all over again with celebrities walking in white.

Apparently, Hollywood stars stuck to the basic fashion at the 85th Academy Awards. While Jennifer Aniston stunned with her red gown, a few others such as former Oscar winner, Charlize Theron kept the look simple and glam in white.

"Twilight" star, Kristen Stewart also made it an appearance given she had presented an award alongside "Harry Potter" star, Daniel Radcliffe. Stewart's accessory that night wasn't beau, Robert Pattinson but a pair of crutches instead.

Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actress, Anne Hathaway nearly made a nip slip with her white gown. Anne's co-star from "Les Miserables", Amanda Seyfried on the other hand kept her look retro glam with a glittery white ensemble.

Zoe Saldana's gown may have had a touch of black and grey but white was also its' main theme. Included in one of many best dressed lists was Amy Adams with her Oscar De la Renta dress that somehow resembled "Harry Potter" Emma Watson's dress during the seventh movie premiere.

"The Vampire Diaries" star, Nina Dobrev also stuck to the basic white and black theme. Dorbev donned a Naeem Khan gown that featured a black and white bold print. The dress also bared Dobrev's sexy back.

Of course, who could forget Oscar Winner for Best Actress, Jennifer Lawrence?

The "Hunger Games" star ranked one in a lot of Best Dressed Lists with her Dior couture. Jennifer looked heavenly in her Dior gown that made her look like she was walking on clouds of which apparently had occurred when she had taken a tumble on the way to the Oscar stage. Read all about that here.
