Oscar-winning actress, Elizabeth Taylor is now on her second month of confinement at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The actress was first brought to the hospital in early February and was being treated for symptoms of congestive heart failure.
The actress’s publicist, Jamie Cadwell said on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press, that the actress has been required by the doctor to still remain at the hospital, without elaborating on her current condition or prognosis.
Taylor’s congestive heart failure was first diagnosed in 2004, said AP.
Almost a month after she was brought to the hospital, Taylor was reported to have shown improvement on her condition but was advised by the doctors to stay at the hospital for further observation.
The actress then decided to celebrate her 79th birthday at her room hospital which also coincided with this year’s 83rd Academy Awards ceremony. Taylor was reported to have watched Oscars first time hosts, James Franco and Anne Hathaway at her hospital bed.
