Twilight star Kristen Stewart has created Oscars frenzy when she stepped out of her car in a pair of gray crutches, dubbed as her Robert Pattinson at the 2013 Academy Awards. With Robert Pattinson still filming in Australia, many have doubted if Kristen would go to the Oscars as she had kept a low profile since the actor left to shoot “The Rover.”

She dazzled albeit hobbling at The Oscars 2013 red carpet and the stage presenting at the prestigious event. Fellow stars reaching out to her asking what happened and well-wishes have been received expressing hopes that Kristen gets better.

Her pale blush strapless gown Kristen wore at The Oscars had turned heads but nothing could beat the attention caught by a pair of crutches she was holding on to instead of Rob.

As if bringing us all back to Kristen’s 2008 film, “What Just Happened,” critics, fans, onlookers (albeit silently) and of course, Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t help but “get chummy” with her and asked “Dude, what happened?” as they ran into each other at the red carpet. Even Hathaway forget that her Best Supporting Actress award finally ‘came true,’ the “Les Miserables” star also took note of the crutches.

Lawrence’s friendly question and Hathaway’s affectionate observation and short conversation with her reverberated and resonated into everyone’s mind and Kristen’s crutches even created internet frenzy, especially in the Twitterverse.

"I know, I'm an idiot," Kristen was heard telling Anne H backstage, adding. "But congratulations!"

"Please tell me you're going on stage with those," Hathaway queried, referring to the gray crutches Kristen was holding onto.

"Nope. I'm gonna hobble," Stewart answered, assuring Anne that she was fine.

Kristen managed to flash her very elusive smiles at the photoline with the help of two assistants walking with her as she made her way to the red carpet. She was also grateful for the support received when she hobbled to the stage when it was time to present the production design category.

Fellow actors could not help themselves but take their worries (and thoughts) to Twitter.

"Kristen stewart are you ok? And by that I mean where were the hash brownies before u got hit by bus #bruise #limp," comedian-actor David Spade took to Twitter to wish Kristen well.

Others took it an opportunity to give the “Adventureland” actress a snide comment.

Actor Joel McHale tweeted: "Kristen Stewart is limping because she sprained her ankle from being excessively disinterested."

But what really happened?

Citing a report by People magazine, the LA Times quoted a very credible witness to shed the light to the mindboggling K-Stew’s Oscar moment - - no other than her make-up artist, Beau Nelson.

The “Jumper” star apparently “cut the ball of her foot, quite severely, on glass two days ago.”

There you have it folks. You heard the man. We can all enjoy many pictures of Kristen as she dazzled at The Oscars red carpet.
