Most acceptance speeches are memorable during the Oscars. The ones making the speeches are bound to be A-list and respectable actors and actresses so anything they share on that stage will be imprinted on the viewers' minds. This year's Oscars has its fair share of memorable speeches, but two stand out to be the most touching speeches worth tearing up for.

Jared Leto

Being the first to accept an award for the Best Supporting Actor title, Jared Leto's speech offered a glimpse of what the Oscars has to offer when it comes to speeches. It was touching and included almost all important and critical topics to date: from teen pregnancy to AIDs and to Ukraine too, Jared said it all.

Lupita Nyong' O

Lupita Nyong'O owned the Awards night with her stunning ensemble and radiant complexion. To top off the night, she won the Best Supporting Actress title, besting Jennifer Lawrence. Not only was her win well-deserved, it was well-received by other the audience and the other nominees too. Chiwetel Efiofor became tearful andLiza Minnelli jumped up to hug her. The crowd also gave her a standing ovation. Her speech however, bought half the audience, the TV viewers and even those rabidly waiting for news on Twitter and on the Internet to tears. It was that touching.

First, she thanked the spirit of Patsey, her character in 12 Years a Slave. "It doesn't escape me for one moment that so much joy in my life is thanks to so much pain in someone else's and so I want to salute the spirit of Patsey and thank her for her guidance. And to Solomon, thank you for telling her story as well as your own."

She also gives thanks to the cinematographer and other "invisible performers" behind the scenes people who helped make the film possible, Steve McQueen who "charge[s] everything you touch with a breath of your own spirit," Ejiofor for being fearless and Michael Fassbender for being her rock. But it was her closing line that really got everyone even more teary and inspired. "When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you're from your dreams are valid."
