Ospreys will have to do without the services of prop Duncan Jones for the foreseeable future.

The 33-year-old was forced off the field during his side's RaboDirect PRO12 defeat to Ulster last week by a knee injury and will spent a considerable period on the sideline as a result.

"Duncan suffered damage to the medial ligament of his knee" head physiotherapist Chris Towers told the club's official website.

"In terms of prognosis, we are looking at something around an eight week lay-off to allow him to heal and regain his strength and fitness to get back playing again."
