'Outlander' Season 2 cast members playing Roger and Briana greet fans on Valentine's Day
“Outlander” Season 2 cast members Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin shared a picture of them together and wished the fans on Valentine’s Day. The two actors will be playing the important roles of Brianna and Roger Wakefield in the next season.
The picture was shared on Twitter by Skelton. While most people are busy celebrating the day with their loved ones, the two cast members were busy researching their roles and filming their scenes. Skelton did tease the romance of Brianna and Roger with the hashtag #RogerandBree in her tweet.

The two cast members had previously travelled to Wardlaw Mausoleum to learn more about Fraser history and to see the final resting place of the Old Fox. Brianna is the great granddaughter of the Old Fox, a character who is set to appear in the next season.

Meanwhile, cast members Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) added another feather in their caps by becoming RadioTimes.com readers' favourite TV couple. The couple had to beat “The X-Files” couple Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) to emerge on top.
“Outlander” fans voted Heughan and Balfe to victory on a special Valentine's Day themed poll. The couple was able to get 16,000 votes from fans across the globe.
Filming of the TV series is currently ongoing. The producers also shared a GIF of Jamie and Claire kissing, to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the fans. Heughan also shared a picture of him and his fellow cast member Balfe. The picture, however, was previously released by the producers.
