'Outlander' Season 2 episode 4 preview: Trouble at a dinner party; A look inside episode 3
After facing his first big hurdle in thwarting the efforts of Prince Charles, Jamie will take some drastic action in “Outlander” Season 2 episode 4. A preview of the next episode shows that Jamie will host a dinner party, but not everything will go according to plan.
[Spoiler alert]
Through the letters that Fergus (Romann Berrux) stole, Jamie (Sam Heughan) learnt how important a role Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) plays in Prince Charles’ (Andrew Gower) plans. Jamie now plans to throw a dinner party and wants to invite all the prominent members of the Jacobite Rebellion. The main intention of the dinner is to undermine the Duke.
The preview video shows the dinner party being attended by the Duke of Sandringham, Prince Charles and other prominent members. Jamie is seated at the head of the table. The Prince praises the efforts of the Duke at the dinner.
The Duke is accompanied by Jack Randall’s (Tobias Menzies) younger brother Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz). Claire (Caitriona Balfe) has so far not told her husband that Jack is still alive. Will Jamie find out the truth in the next episode of “Outlander” Season 2?
Things get out of hand at the dinner part and Jamie can be seen fighting someone in the preview video. Claire can be seen protecting the shy Mary Hawkins (Rosie Day) during all the commotion.
Meanwhile, a new video has surfaced online that features Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore and producer/writer Anne Kenney talking about episode 3. The episode was written by Kenny. The video shows some footage from the episode and also some behind the scenes footage.
“Outlander” Season 2 episode 4 is titled “La Dame Blanche.” The episode will air on April 30. Jamie will have to put in his best efforts to stop Prince Charles, as the king of France is intrigued with the prospect of an alliance between France and Britain.
