'Outlander' Season 2: Fans get a chance to win premiere tickets and meet Caitriona Balfe
“Outlander” fans now get a chance to win tickets for the Season 2 premiere and also meet cast member Caitriona Balfe. Two lucky fans will get to attend the red carpet event at New York City and watch the episode on the big screen.
Fans who wish to participate in the campaign will have to bid for it on Charity Buzz. The current bid is at $6,250 (about AU $8,288), for the tickets that are valued at $10,000 (about AU $13,261).
The event will be held on April 4 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Two fans will not only get to watch the premiere episode and meet Balfe, but also take a picture with her. The participants, however, need to be at least 21 years old in order to be eligible to take part.
By participating in the campaign, the fans will be supporting the charity organisation World Child Cancer. The money will help with the treatment and care of children with cancer and also their families in the developing countries.
Only about two days are left to participate and win the tickets for “Outlander” Season 2 premiere event. Early reviews of the next season are in and they promise lots of “ gorgeously shot” sex scenes, TV Line reports.
Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Balfe) will be heading to France in the next season. While the couple appears to continue to have a strong and passionate relationship, the events of the previous season will still haunt Jamie and they will be there at the back of his mind.
“Outlander” Season 2 is based on the book “Dragonfly in Amber” by Diana Gabaldon. The show is said to have been made with the “ same loving care” as the first season. A popular dialogue from the books that was cut from the first season will reportedly appear this time around.
