'Outlander' Season 2: New picture of Claire over a body
Lives will be in danger when Jamie and Claire infiltrate the group responsible for the Jacobite Rebellion in “Outlander” Season 2. The producers of the show have teased a new picture of Claire sitting over a body on the ground.
Fans of the franchise who have read the books written by Diana Gabaldon, on which the TV series is based on, are speculating about the scene teased in the picture. The picture shows Claire (Caitriona Balfe) sitting near what appears to be a dead body.
The scene takes place at night and Claire is in a room that looks like a warehouse. Claire can be seen gesturing to someone else in the scene, but the other person is not visible in the picture. “There's no time to waste when a life is at stake,” the tweet with the picture reads.
A previously released picture of Claire showed her in a bright yellow dress. “Healer, wife, mother-to-be, scheming spy ... is there anything Claire can't do?” the tweet with the picture reads. Towards the end of the previous season it was revealed that Claire was pregnant.
Filming of “Outlander” Season 2 is almost complete. Writer and series producer Matthew B. Roberts recently teased that the filming wrapped on the first week of the last block. He did not reveal how many scenes were left to be filmed for the show.
At least one key character is yet to be cast for the TV series. The producers have so far not made any announcements about who will play a character called Brianna. In the book “Dragonfly in Amber,” on which the second season of the show is based, Brianna is a major character.
The “Outlander” Season 2 premiere date has so far not been announced. Executive producer Ronald D. Moore had previously said that the show may air sometime in March or April.
