'Outlander' Season 2: New scenes of Jamie and Claire in France in teaser video
Scenes of Jamie and Claire in their new French costume from “Outlander” Season 2 can be seen in a new promo video by Starz. The video also shows teasers of the other original TV shows by Starz that will air in 2016.
Posted on YouTube, the video shows Jamie (Sam Heughan) taking his wife by the hand and helping her come on shore from a boat in France. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) appears to be happy to leave behind all their problems and start a new life in a new country.
Another scene from the next season shows Claire lying down on the bed and Jamie sitting by her side. “You’re a daring woman sassenach ,” Jamie tells his wife in the video. The relationship between the two characters will get a new dimension in the next season, with Claire’s pregnancy.
The next season also promises more action and one of the scenes in the teaser shows Jamie in a duel with an unknown opponent. Apart from “Outlander” Season 2 scenes, the promo video also includes scenes from “Black Sails” and “The Girlfriend Experience.”
Expectations are high for the next season of the show starring Heughan and Balfe. The TV series recently won the People’s Choice Award for Favourite Cable TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show. Balfe also managed to win an award in the Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress category, thanks to the huge and active fan following of the show.
Heughan and Balfe shared a special video message for all the fans who voted for the show. The two actors thanked the fans for all their hard work in helping them secure a win. Heughan said that this was one of the best awards for him because he won it with fan votes, which shows how much the audience love the TV series.
“Now you can put those fingers from all that voting into a nice bowl of ice... to chill them down,” Balfe joked in the video. “Yes, until next year,” Heughan added.
“Outlander” Season 2 is set to premiere in March or April 2016. The plot this time around will focus on Jamie and Claire trying to stop the Jacobite rebellion in France.
