A new promo picture of “Outlander” Season 2 shows Claire’s baby bump. A new trailer of the next season teased some of the scenes and they reveal what life will be like for the two main characters in France.

Claire (Caitriona Balfe) had found out about her unexpected pregnancy in the first season of the popular TV series. A promo picture of the next season, posted on Gold Derby, now shows Claire with a baby bump and standing with her husband Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

A trailer of the next season, posted on the Facebook page of the TV series, shows Claire and Jamie preparing for a new beginning. Things, however, don’t go smoothly for the couple in France and Jamie finds it particularly challenging to lead this new life.

Claire and Jamie will decide to infiltrate the Jacobite rebellion and attempt to stop it in France. They will attend parties and meet with influential people in “Outlander” Season 2 and attempt to gain their trust.

Jamie will find it difficult to lead a deceitful life and will confess his difficulties to his wife. “I spend my days and my nights flattering a man so I can undermine his cause,” Jamie says in the trailer.

“Neither of them feel comfortable with this role of suspicion and being two faced and double sided,” Balfe revealed in the video. Jamie points out that they have been “lying to everyone.” Claire, however, reminds her husband that the future of Scotland is at stake.

The trailer also reveals that the relationship between Claire and Jamie will be tested in “Outlander” Season 2. Apart from the drama, the next season of the show also promises a lot of action. Jamie can be seen going to battle against the British, along with his friends Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix), Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish) and the other Highlanders.
