'Outlander' Season 2 spoilers: First look at Brianna and Roger from finale

“Outlander” Season 2 finale will be introducing two very important characters. Pictures of Brianna and Roger have surfaced online, along with the main characters Claire and Jamie.

The 90 minute finale episode will have the familiar flashback and flash-forward format. Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be seen in the future with her grown up daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton). Frank (Tobias Menzies) had previously made his wife promise that their child will grow up as their own, and not know about the time travel and Jamie (Sam Heughan).

Jamie is Brianna’s father, and Claire will let her grown up daughter know about it in the finale episode. The two characters will embark on a journey to Scotland where they will research about the history of the Randall family. They come across a young professor named Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin). The professor and Brianna become close during their research.

Pictures of the two new characters have been posted on The Wrap. The first two stills from “Outlander” Season 2 finale show Brianna and Roger on the road near a car. Two more pictures of them together shows them at what appears to be a library.

There is also a behind the scenes picture of Rankin and Skelton relaxing on a sofa, while a camera is pointed at them. Apart from the two young characters, there are also pictures of Claire and Jamie from the finale episode.

The trailer of the next episode shows the Frasers being hunted by the British soldiers. Claire is forced to travel back in time, as Jamie insists that she go back. The Frasers profess their love in the video.

The Battle of Culloden has finally arrived in the “Outlander” Season 2 finale. The episodes will show the viewers the events surrounding Claire and Jamie on the day of the battle.
