'Outlander' Season 2 spoilers: The Frasers face-off with Comte St. Germain in next episode
Jamie has a plan to stop Prince Charles in the next episode of “Outlander” Season 2. A promo video of episode 6 shows the Frasers making a dangerous move against Comte St. Germain.
[Spoiler alert]
After thwarting the Duke of Sandringham (Simon Callow) from financing Prince Charles (Andrew Gower), the Frasers found out that Comte St. Germain (Stanley Weber) promised to aid in the cause. St. Germain is in desperate need of a partner in a venture and is willing to part with a portion of the profits.
A promo video of the next episode posted on YouTube shows Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) talking to Claire (Caitriona Balfe) about a new plan to stop Prince Charles from getting any money. The plan involves destroying St. Germain’s inventory, resulting in heavy losses for him and rendering him incapable of financing anyone.
Jamie and Murtagh also have specific plans for St. Germain himself, but the video doesn’t reveal what it is. St. Germain had previously told Jamie that he would procure the shipment himself and store it in his warehouse. The latter was not to contact the Frenchman until he has some buyers ready to make an offer.
There will be some trouble for Jamie in the next episode of “Outlander” Season 2. A group of masked men intercept his wine shipment and one of them has a gun pointed at the young Scottish warrior. Will St. Germain attempt to kill the Frasers once again in the next episode?
The Frasers suspect that it was St. Germain who poisoned Claire and latter arranged the attack on her the night Mary Hawkins (Rosie Day) was raped. They don’t have any proof that the villain was involved and Jamie promised him that the man responsible for the attacks would certainly die.
The title of episode 6 of “Outlander” Season 2 is “Best Laid Schemes.” Claire believes that the plans they are making are very dangerous and doesn’t feel good about them, suspecting that something may go wrong.
