'Outlander' season 3: Christmas Jumper Day on the set this week
There will be a Christmas Jumper day on the set of “Outlander” season 3 later this week, Co-executive Producer Maril Davis confirmed. There is already holiday spirit at office, but the work continues without a break for now.
Christmas Jumper Day is the annual fund raising event in the UK for the charity organisation Save the Children. People celebrate this by wearing the most outrageous or stylish outfits to an office party. The participants also make a small donation for a good cause.
The cast members of the Starz TV series Sam Heughan (Jamie) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) are into social causes in a big way, and constantly promote it on social media. The other cast and crew members are also like minded, and use their fame and wealth to promote charity organisations. The date for the Christmas Jumper Day in 2016 was Dec 13, but with the hectic filming schedule the team will be celebrating later this week.
The cast and crew are hard at work for “Outlander” season 3, and Davis shared a picture from office on Sunday. The cast and crew work from Sunday to Thursday.

That doesn’t mean it’s all work and no play for the team. Everyone is getting into the Holiday spirit, and recently they put up a Mistletoe at the production office. The team also receives gifts, and Davis got a box of chocolates that she was thankful for.

Not all the cast and crew members are at the office. Some of them are out on the sets to film their scenes. Looking at the Mistletoe, Heughan was excited and said he wanted to go to the office immediately.
Filming in this cold winter will last till Christmas Eve. The cast and crew will then take a short break. Filming of “Outlander” season 3 has already reached the halfway mark, so the producers may be releasing a teaser trailer soon.
