'Outlander' Season 3: Encounters while scouting locations for filming
Co-Executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts has shared some interesting behind the scenes pictures online, while scouting for locations to film “Outlander” Season 3. Production Designer Jon Gary Steele has also teased new pictures from the sets of the TV series.
Roberts encountered some scenic beauty while looking for locations for the TV series. The different colours of two trees he noticed made him remark that the trees can’t agree whether it is fall or winter. He added that a white van was parked just behind him when he took the picture, and this allowed the “perfect light bounce” to take the photograph.

In another picture he showed an old tractor. Roberts captioned the photo as another instalment of things he gets to see while scouting for locations.

The producer shared more pictures on his Instagram page. The first picture was taken in a forest, and Roberts described this as a “fern-tastic day.” The other picture is of a door. He wrote that he hasn’t shared a door picture in a long time, hence the new door picture.

The next season will begin with the Battle of Culloden in the past, where Jamie (Sam Heughan) fights Black Jack (Tobias Menzies), and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in the future with her first husband. The two main characters will spend some time apart in the first few episodes of the show before a big reunion.
The fans can expect to see more exotic photos for “Outlander” Season 3 in the future, as the show will take the viewers to the Caribbean and later to the US. The main characters will get to see some sandy beaches of Jamaica and meet new and interesting characters in the process.
