'Outlander' season 3: What to expect in the Print Shop scene

Fans finally got to see Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) print shop in “Outlander” season 3, but there’s more. Episode 6 will show how Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and her Scottish lover react after reuniting with each other. In a recent interview, Heughan shared his insight about what the interaction between the two characters will be like.

The first reaction of Jamie was that of shock, which is understandable as he was not expecting to see his wife again. But once the initial shock wears off, what will the interaction be like? Twenty years of bottled up emotions are going to explode from both parties; this is promising to be an exciting scene to watch.

In a recent interview with E Online, Heughan said that his character and Claire are going to “rediscover” their bond and rekindle the initial attraction they had for each other years ago. The actor also teased that the interaction is going to be “awkward” because the two characters haven’t seen each other for a long time. There’s a lot riding on in this reunion as Jamie and Claire want to be loved.

“It's almost like they're teenagers again,” Heughan said. Claire was worried about how Jamie may find her unattractive now that she has aged. Jamie, too, will have his concerns, as he has a walking stick to get around.

Despite their perceived shortcomings, the two characters will end up in bed together for passionate sex. Soon after their reunion, they will embark on another adventure that will take them to new lands, where they will meet interesting characters.

“Outlander” season 3 episode 6 is set to air on Oct. 22. The episode is titled “A. Malcolm,” which is the name of Jamie’s shop. According to the synopsis of the episode, the business troubles of the Highlander won’t allow the reunited couple to lead a simple life.
