'Outlander' season 3: When to expect first trailer and release date details
With the cast and crew back on the set to continue filming “Outlander” season 3, the big question that the fans have is when there will be the first trailer and details about the release date. With the start of the New Year, a teaser and synopsis may be just around the corner.
In an interview with Gold Derby on the red carpet of the BAFTA tea party Caitriona Balfe (Claire) was asked about the release date and first trailer. The actress said that she has no idea when they are airing it, and doesn’t want to know; so she doesn’t have to lie about it when asked.
The cast and crew have already filmed seven episodes of the 13 this time. So, the producers and the PR team could be putting together a teaser trailer at the moment. Readers should note that the first trailer and synopsis about Season 2 was released in February last year. So, the fans may see something in a just a few weeks.
The first few pictures of “Outlander” season 3 have already been released online. From the Battle of Culloden to Balfe in Boston, the fans who haven’t read the books also have an idea about what to expect in the first few episodes of the show.
Balfe also teased the separate storylines of her character and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in her interview. The two characters will have a beautiful reunion after about twenty years of separation. And then they go on a sea voyage on a ship.
“Outlander” season 3 will once again feel like a different show, with a different Claire. In the flashback scenes the fans will get to see her work life and relationship with Frank (Tobias Menzies) and daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton). The production is still taking place in Scotland at the moment, but will soon shift to South Africa.
