'Outlander' season 4 air date is closer than you think

The countdown for “Outlander” season 4 air date has begun. A stunning new poster has been released online, teasing the life of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in the New World.

“Outlander” fans have some high expectations after seeing the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. Now, they will be treated to the scenic beauty of the American colony of North Carolina, although a lot of the filming took place in Scotland. A new poster has been released online [see below], teasing this scenic beauty.

Jamie and Claire will get some new clothes, suitable for the life in the New World. The Scotsman will also get a rifle and a pistol. Claire was also seen using a rifle in a teaser of the next season that was released previously. The setting is beautiful to continue the love story of the two characters.

Commenting on the poster, Heughan said that the season 4 air date is closer than what the fans think. The period between two season of the show has been called Droughtlander, during which time the fans are thirsty for any information about what they can expect to see next.

The plot is based on the books written by Diana Gabaldon, and there a few fan favourite scenes in each book that are highly anticipated each year, and this time it’s no different. It remains to be seen what modifications or changes the producers will make to some of the scenes, to make it fit the episodic format of storytelling.

Executive Producer Maril Davis too asked the fans to get ready for the New World. Commenting on her post, some of the fans expressed their love for the new poster and their excitement for the show’s return.

“Outlander” season 4 is set to air on Nov. 4 in the US.
