'Outlander' season 4 described in four words by the cast
“Outlander” season 4 is different things for different cast members, as each character is in a different place, and has unique experiences. In a recent interview, some of the main actors on the show were asked to tease the next season in four words, and they all gave some interesting responses.
In a video that has been released online [see below], the cast members can be seen in their respective costumes on the set. They were all asked to tease season 4 in just four words.
Sam Heughan (Jamie) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) were paired up for the interview. Balfe said that it is adventurous, while her fellow cast member said that it is a new world. The video doesn’t share the entire interview, and it only has a compilation of the highlights.
Just like Heughan and Balfe, Richard Rankin (Roger) and Sophie Skelton (Brianna) were paired for the interview. Rankin said that the show is “amazing.” When Skelton said that it is “epic,” Rankin complained that he wanted to say the word. Skelton also called the next season “unique.”
Readers should note that Rankin and Skelton appear to be using the same words quite often in their interviews, suggesting that they are both on the same page even off-camera.
Ed Speelers, who plays the role of the new villain Stephen Bonnet, also shared his take on what season 4 is all about. The actor used the word “volatile” to describe the show.
John Bell (Young Ian) feels the next season is “exciting,” which must be true for his character. He also feels it will be dangerous and sexy. The actor also hinted at his character’s pet Rollo by saying that season 4 will be “a little bit furry.”
Maria Doyle Kennedy (Aunt Jocasta) seems to have the best response. The actress said that “Outlander” season 4 is “a pilgrimage of hope.”
