'Outlander' season 4: Lauren Lyle teases '18th century married life'
Lauren Lyle (Marsali) has shared a new behind-the-scenes picture from the production set of “Outlander” season 4. The picture shows her on-screen husband César Domboy(Fergus). Meanwhile, the official Twitter page of the TV series has teased some details about what to look forward to on the show this year.
The picture [see below] was taken in what appears to be a dressing room of the show. Domboy is busy checking his phone, but he is in full costume. Lyle is the one taking the picture. The actress described the photo as “a lil sneak peak of 18th century married life.” She tagged the picture with hashtag “Fersali,” for Fergus and Marsali.
The next season will mainly focus on Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in the flashback, and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) in the flash forward. Both these storylines will be huge on the show. However, readers can’t forget that there’s another power couple on the show. Fergus and Marsali got married in the last season, and it will be interesting to see how they live as husband and wife on the show this year.
A new trailer of the next season was released online recently, and commenting on the post, the official Twitter page teased some details about some of the interesting aspects of the plot [see below].
The most notable comment is that Claire will get to use an American rifle, and she will look good doing it. Jamie will come into a position of power. The two important new characters being introduced are Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) and Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy).
While there’s a lot of excitement about the new trailer, one concern that some of the fans have is that Roger has a very low key presence in the video. The character plays a very important role in the book “Drums of Autumn,” but it remains to be seen how big a role he will play in the TV adaptation.
