'Outlander' season 4: New picture of Dewey as a young pup
Two pups were chosen to play Rollo in “Outlander” season 4, which was the first casting for the new season. When filming started, however, only one of the dogs was used. Co-executive Producer Matthew B. Roberts has shared a new picture of the dog that was in the production.
Dewey, the dog that was selected to play Rollo, has won over the cast and crew during the filming. This is a very friendly dog that seems to have become best friends with John Bell (Young Ian).
Roberts has shared a new picture of Dewey online [ see below]. Dewey was just a pup when he was cast to play Rollo. In just one year the dog has grown. A video of Dewey and Bell together on the set has been released online [see below], and the video shows just how friendly the dog is.
Filming has wrapped, and the producers are currently busy with the postproduction work. The last few weeks of the filming involved night shoots, and Co-executive Producer Maril Davis has explained just how difficult these night shoots were [see below].
The production took place during the summer this time around for the show. That means that they only had about four and a half hours of complete darkness to film the relevant scenes. It generally takes a long time for complete darkness to engulf Scotland in the summer, which made the work of the cast and crew a little challenging.
The cast and crew had to pull many all-nighters to finish the last few episodes of season 4. They would head back from the production set at day-break. Hopefully all their hard work will pay off when the fans watch what the team has created.
“Outlander” season 4 is set to air in November. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
