'Outlander' season 4 team heading to New York
The next trailer of “Outlander” season 4 can be expected in October. The producers and some of the cast members of the show are heading to the New York Comic Con, where they will discuss the show in a panel discussion and teases what’s to come.
Producers Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, and cast members Sam Heughan (Jamie), Caitriona Balfe (Claire), Sophie Skelton (Brianna), and Richard Rankin (Roger) are heading to the New York Comic Con, the official Twitter page of the TV series announced online [see below]. The fans can see the team there on October 6.
There will be a panel discussion at 5:30 p.m at the Hulu theatre at Madison Square Garden. The producers have the habit of revealing substantial things during such events. Previously the full premiere episode of season 3 was shown to the surprised fans at a Comic Con. This time around, the least that the fans can expect is the next full trailer.
“Be still my beating heart,” the official Twitter page of the New York Comic Con wrote online, describing the palpable anticipation of the show [see below]. Commenting on the post, the fans expressed their excitement, and those who have already got the badge for the event were wondering if they need anything extra to watch the panel.
While the fans should be excited about listening to the panel discussion by the team, there is one person missing. Author of the “Outlander” books series, on which the TV show is based, will not be a part of the panel. The author has been actively involved in the production by giving her thoughts on the creative decisions the producers make and she also helped the cast members by giving her insights into some of the scenes.
Some of the other guests who will be attending the New York Comic Con, who are not related to the “Outlander” TV series, are Danai Gurira of “Black Panther” and “The Walking Dead,” Jason Momoa of “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones,” and Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Alex Kingston of “Doctor Who.”
