‘Outlander’ Sneak Peek Trailer To Help Fans Overcome ‘Droughtlander’ [Watch Video]
The producers of "Outlander" TV series have released a sneak peek trailer for the next part of the season. The full trailer will be released at the end of the week. The trailer shows the dilemma faced by the protagonist, Claire Randall. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]
Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Frazier in "Outlander," spoke to the fans from the production set of the TV series in the official sneak peel trailer seen below. The actor said that the producers and the cast of the show understood the eagerness of the fans to watch the TV show. Describing the long wait for the show as "Droughtlander," the actor asked the fans to hang in there and stay strong.
The sneak peek trailer shows the beautiful landscape of Scotland along with a few glimpses of the upcoming part of the first season. The character Claire Randall can be heard saying that her present location was not her home. The video features her riding a horse along with some of the other cast members.
She describes her current situation as being adrift, anchorless in a running sea. Jamie Frazier is seen asking Claire whether she wished to live separately. Claire can be seen in a dilemma when she says that that was what she should be wanting. But the two characters are seen getting closer to each other.
Readers who have watched all the episodes of "Outlander" released so far will remember that Claire and Jamie were married to avoid the persistent Jack Randall. Claire, however, was already married to Frank, in the future, at the time of her marriage to Jamie.
The last episode of "Outlander" had a cliffhanger ending with Claire ending up in the hands of Jack. Toward the end of Episode 8, she was about to be raped by Jack when her new husband Jamie drops into the room from a window and points a gun at Jack.
The "Outlander" TV series will be returning on Starz on April 4, 2015. Sam Heughan said in the video that the wait now was not that long. Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see what happens next.
