The plot details of episodes 9 to 13 of “Outlander” TV series have surfaced online. Here is a look at what the fans can expect to see in the next few episodes from the first season. The producers have also released a few behind the scenes images from the show.

After the cliff-hanger ending of episode 8, fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see how Jamie will rescue his new bride from the clutches of Jack in the next episode. The plot details of the next few episodes from Season 1 have been posted on SpoilerTV and they give the fans a few hints about what to expect.

Episode 9 of “Outlander” will focus on Claire’s rescue, as per the report. The plot synopsis reveals that Jamie will not be alone in the rescue attempt. The other Highlanders will aid him in his rescue attempt. The previous episode had ended with Jamie appearing in the nick of time at the window of the room where Jack was attempting to rape Claire. Jack had taken her hostage as soon as he saw the Highlander pointing his pistol at him.

Upon Claire’s rescue, Jamie will seek help to remove the price on his head. Episode 10 will apparently focus on him hoping that the Duke of Sandringham will help him with this problem. Episode 11 is about Claire and Geillis standing trail for witchcraft, according to the plot synopsis. Fans of the franchise may remember that the protagonist had angered the priest of the town in the first part of the season. The episode will also show Claire learning a secret from Geillis’ past.

Episode 12 of the “Outlander” TV series will reportedly take Jamie back to his family estate of Lallybroch. Fans may get to see Jamie’s sister, Jenny, in this episode. Jamie will encounter a red coat deserter from his past in episode 13. Jenny will go into labour in this episode, according to the report, and Jamie and Jenny’s husband Ian will “join the Watch.”

The producers of the “Outlander” TV series have posted two new behind the sets images from the show on the official Instagram account of the show. The first image is of Claire wearing some warm clothes and the second image shows that the red coats are back.

Although the “Outlander” TV series is mostly about the love life of Claire and her attempt to get back to her husband in the 1940s, there is a backdrop of the Jacobite rebellion in the story. The next part of the season may give the viewers more insight about this aspect of the plot.
