Apple Inc. (APPL) has loyal and eager customers worldwide but they seem reluctant about one of Apple's biggest event happening yearly in September since 2007 - the iTunes festival. Apple Inc. hopes that this year will be different and more fans will take notice of the event.

Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet and Software and Services said that "This year's iTunes festival is the best ever with an incredible lineup of global superstar and stellar emerging artists. Music fans around the world are going to love watching this incredible month of music whether in London at the Roundhouse or on their iOS device. We're honored so many renowned artists are part of this year's lineup. Music fans from across the world, including the US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe, Japan and Mexico can win tickets to the iTunes Festival through competitions run by local media partners."

According to the press release, Justin Timberlake, Jessie J and Queens of the Stone Age were already set to perform for the Apple's iTunes festival this year.

Jessie announces that she will be performing songs from her much awaited second studio album in the festival. She also expressed her excitement about the event, "I'm excited to see you all at this year's iTunes Festival. I'll be back with new music, a new look and a party you're all invited to."

iTunes festival is a free concert series which features over 60 acts from famous artists. Other artists contracted to perform for the festival are Phoenix, Primal Scream, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Jake Bugg and Jack Johnson. Apple Inc will announce more line-ups in th coming days.

Bobbie Gillespie of Primal Scream said, "We're gonna levitate the Roundhouse, turn it into a flying saucer and blast off."

Jack Johnson showed the same level of enthusiasm about the iTunes festival, "I've seen a lot of great shows over the years thanks to the iTunes festival, so it will be fun to be on the other side of the broadcast this year. I hope you can tune in and watch our set."

The Apple Inc. iTunes Festival happens nightly in the whole month of September and can be watch live at London's Roundhouse. The festival was launched in 2007 and was originally held in July. It was only last year that Apple Inc. decided to hold the festival in the month of September.

Famous artist like Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse were the very first performers of the iTunes festival. Since their inclusion in the line-up, more renowned artists have agreed to grace the festival with their presence and performance. Among other past performers were Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighter, Alicia Keys, Paul Simon and Oasis. Last year, One Direction, Ryan Keen and disco icon Deadmau5 performed in the festival.

Even if Apple Inc. considered iTunes festival as an overlooked activity, to date, there were already 370,000 fans who watch the iTunes festival live. And, there were millions of fans watching the festival online, on TV and on their mobile phones. Apple Inc. aimed to double this number.

Again, all fans who cannot watch the iTunes festival live in London at the Roundhouse, live performances nightly can "be watched live or on-demand by millions of iOS users around the world on their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, as well as music fans with iTunes on their computer or in stunning HD with Apple TV."
