Pamela Anderson’s ex-boyfriend is suing the adult star for $22.5 million over a deal gone bad.
Laurence Hallier, said the Associated Press is countersuing Anderson for over twenty million dollars following a lawsuit earlier filed by the former Baywatch star.
Anderson was the first to make her legal move filing a $1-million lawsuit against Hallier for allegedly not keeping his promise to give her a condo. Hallier is a big-time developer and owner of the Panorama Towers in Las Vegas which housed the condo in question.
But Hallier claimed in his counter lawsuit that Anderson failed to satisfy her obligation stipulated in a contract they inked in 2006.
In the contract, Anderson agreed to provide her services in promoting Hallier’s condominium by ‘making various personal appearances in exchange for her own condo’, noted AP.
And when Anderson to failed to meet her end of the bargain, not only did Hallier not give the actress the promised condo. The Vegas realtor is now holding Anderson responsible for his losses resulting from the failure to sell condo units, estimated at $22.5 million.
According to The Daily Mail, Anderson and Hallier has been dating on and off until they finally split last year.
The actress who propelled to fame in the 80s and 90s for her appearance on Baywatch is now living in a trailer in Malibu. Joining her is son Brandon, 14 and Dylan, 13.
“…the financial meltdown also affected me - from princes, to countries you never thought would go bankrupt, people were not paying me for services,” Anderson was quoted by the Daily Mail as she described her financial situation.
