The first full trailer of the upcoming movie "Pan" has been released by the producers. The trailer tells the origin story of how an orphan boy lands in the magical Neverland and becomes a hero who leads his people against the villainous pirates. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

One striking feature in the movie "Pan" is that the protagonist in the movie is shown to be a regular boy who is given the title of "The Pan," a title that is supposed to be given the greatest warrior of a tribe living in Neverland.

The young orphan boy on earth, played by Levi Miller, is given up by his biological mother who is forced by circumstances. He grows up at an orphanage and turns into one of the naughtiest boys in his new home. One day he discovers his file and a letter from his mother. The letter talks about his mother wanting to meet him in this world or another.

The young boy's journey begins when the dreaded pirate Blackbeard, played by Hugh Jackman, comes on his flying ship. He and his pirates kidnap the children at the orphanage to take them to the magical world of Neverland. The kidnapped boys are forced to work at a mine in the magical land.

Readers will find the character Hook in the movie "Pan" to be different from the story that they are familiar with. The character is shown to be a miner in the upcoming movie and at times works with the orphan boy. Neverland is also inhabited by a colourful tribe that recognises a locket the young boy is wearing.

The locket is a symbol of "The Pan," the greatest warrior of the tribe. The tribe bows to the boy as he will go on to become the leader of the forces that will take on the tyranny of the pirates that kidnaps orphan boys. Blackbeard is seen asking the boy if he had come to kill him.

"Pan" is slated to be released on July 17, 2015 in the U.S. The release date information in Australia has still not been announced by the producers. The movie promises to be an action packed adventure for the entire family.
