Paparrazi reportedly plagued the villa of the Formula One (F1) seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher in Lake Geneva. Photographers, camera crews, and satellite trucks patrolled around the villa after Schumacher's return to him home from Lausanne hospital has been announced.

Despite Michael's manager Sabine Kehm's request for privacy, the racing champion's private villa located on the shore of Lake Geneva at Gland in Swiss Canton of Vaud was surrounded by journalists in an attempt to get scoop on his latest development.

However, police authorities have responded quickly and made the rounds all night to send the paparazzi away, according to Bild.de. A Russian news agency that had managed to broadcast a livestream of the current situation at Michael's house for an hour was sent away by the Swiss police.

"We don't want nosy people to disturb the calm before the house," a police spokeswoman said.

Michael's villa is being guarded with heavy security, not only by the Swiss police but also by a private security firm. Another police spokeswoman told Swiss news network The Local that they had to get involved after they received a call about the condition on the road near Michael's villa. They needed to take care of the parking complaint because some of the vehicles were badly parked. In addition, there were several journalists who were adamant at the gates. The spokeswoman said everything was handled in a civil manner and they intend to let the private security firm do their job unless they were called again.

Even though Michael has been discharged from the hospital and has been given clearance to continue his recovery and rehabilitation at home, he still needs specialised care for a long period of time. Michael's wife, Corinna, is more than prepared for his return to their home.

Corinna has arranged good care after Michael's release from the Lausanne hospital. A total of 15 personnel will reportedly attend to Michael's needs. There will be a designated nurse round-the-clock for Michael. Physical therapists, such as Michael's former Physio Kai Schapka Inter-Alia Movement Therapist when he was still active in his sport, will also be helping the F1 legend's recovery at home.
