Paris Fashion Week Trends: Monochrome, Suits and How to Wear It by the Biggest Celebs [PHOTOS]
Paris is an entirely different world in an entirely different level, even for the biggest names of Hollywood. While designers and models take the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week, stars attend the show not just to catch a glimpse of the hottest runway collections, but also to show off their own personal styles and sartorial best. For the Fall/Winter 2013 season, black and white fashion is clearly the way to go-both on the runway and on the front row.
Jessica Alba always makes a point to look flawless on public events and Paris Fashion Week was no different. As the Sin City star made an appearance at the Stella McCartney show, photographers took delight in capturing her chic suit ensemble. The 31-year-old mother kept up with the monochrome trend by slipping into a beautifully tailored black pantsuit over a crisp white shirt.
Meanwhile, Nicole Richie gave her pal Alba a run for her money for the most stylish young mom at the Stella McCartney event. The petite fashion icon also donned a monochrome palette for the show in a geometric dress by the designer. Paired with heels and a sleek bob, Richie looked wonderfully sophisticated mingling with fellow celebrities.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are often front and center in any major event, and the paparazzi-friendly duo made sure they looked every inch the power couple they are at the Givenchy show in Paris. They showed how fashion coordination is done as Kim hid her baby bump cleverly in an all-black pantsuit, while her beau was dapper in an all-white ensemble.
Hollywood beauties Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried shared the front row with Kimye dressed in stylish black outfits. Chastain opted for a daring and somewhat controversial pantsuit with lace cutoffs at the thighs, while Seyfried went with a more classic look in a one-sleeved dress with white geometric accents.
Of course, sartorial darling Olivia Palermo never fails to wow even in the high-fashion crowd at the Paris Fashion Week. She blended in with ease at the Dior fashion show, which featured some of the most impressive crowd of the week. The socialite looked striking in a black and white striped dress topped with a chic blazer that pulled together Palermo's signature effortless style.
