Few people take Paris Hilton as someone who works hard for her own money. After starring in her own reality shows and engaging in her own music career for a while, Paris simply stayed out of the limelight with many thinking that she's just a heiress leaving a golden life. A new report today, however, claims this image could not be any more untrue, the heiress is actually working and earning serious money of late as a great DJ, and around the world too.

According to Page Six, Paris Hilton cannot be denounced as a "celebutard joke" anymore. She's going around the world twice a week to DJ and she's earning humungous amounts of money. She's going to places like Dubai, Vietnam and Shanghai and has a residency at Harrah's in Atlantic City. Just last month, she showed her DJ-ing skills at the Paris fashion week at Carine Roitfeld's A-list party and she was widely and highly regarded.

Paper magazine claims the hotel heiress earned $2.7 million just spinning four nights in Ibiza. Calculations would reveal that she managed to make $347,000 an hour. She herself told Page Six how proud of herself she is and how happy she is with her work.

"I am working a lot as a DJ and getting paid very well and having a ball," Hilton shared to Page Six last Wednesday from her home in Los Angeles. Asked if she sometimes even see her earnings shoot up to $1 million per gig, the heiress was demure yet honest.

She's not going to hide something she's proud of at the same time. My mother always told me it's not polite to discuss money, but it's true," she stated. She is very proud upon working hard. She loves music and it is her passion. The heiress also added that despite finding luck on her career now, she's not sweating over having someone to share her luck and money with. She told Page she's single and could not be happier. In fact, what she's on the lookout for is a Gulfstream, because she's tired of chartered jets flying her to her gigs. Now that's a good alternative in looking for boys.
